hey everyone - just wanted to let you know that things are rocking

here in Uganda. We started teaching guitar making last week, and

though we got off to a slow start, the quality is high and the guys

are early every day. Today I found a variety of rosewood in Kampala -

and apparently its super common - for four dollars I bought enough to

do at least one whole guitar!!

Anyways, the power is out right now and unless they crank on the

generator, I won't be able to fire this email off. I'm attaching some

pics. Hope you enjoy them. On another note, the culture shock is

subsiding....
